Before Christmas last year a glass tree was put up beside the river that runs through the center of Kongsberg. The tree was a gift from Kongsbergs 'friendship city' that we have sent a real Christmas tree to for many years now. The tree is made of lots of glass plates. I think it's quite nice :o)

My American son is married to a Norwegian girl and they live in Kongsberg with my 4 year old grand daughter. I am going to visit them next week, 9 May, 2007. I visited 4 years ago when my grand daughter was born and I look forward to another visit. It is a very nice town.

My two brothers married Norwegian sisters. My nephew lives in Kongsberg and I hope I can visit him there someday. It's my dream. Your picture's are beautiful and interesting. Please keep adding. I love it.
